In recent months, the prepaid and postpaid mobile telephony market has evolved enough for all operators to adjust their rates to make them more competitive.
Although the most profound change has been seen by users who are in the prepaid mode, those in the rent plan have also seen changes in their bills and benefits they receive. So, little by little, we all started asking each other what mobile phone plan and payment method should I hire or renew?
This tool will help you compare your plan with other options and verify if the services you consume the most are offered at competitive prices
The Federal Institute of Telecommunications has published a tool on its website where users can find a comparison with the updated information of the commercial offer offered by mobile telephony operators. Although the plans offered by the Mobile Virtual Operators are present, this is a good start.
The tool is called "Comparator mobile phone plans" and we can check and compare the key points offered by each operator, such as prices, including minutes, text messages, data included, restrictions and additional services at no cost.
The IFT will publish different reports with comparable information that will help to recognize the main variations in rates and plans offered by operators over time

Managing an income plan provides multiple benefits for users who decide to hire it, but there are also those who prefer not to be "tied" to monthly payments, so the benefits offered by the prepayment are also interesting for them; therefore when choosing you should consider the advantages and disadvantages that you will obtain.
In the comparison of the IFT, the information (which promises to be always updated) for the postpaid modality is shown with an analysis of the monthly income, the number of SMS included, as well as the voice and data minutes included in each plan.
While for the prepaid case, the variables considered are the price per minute, the price per SMS and the price per megabyte (MB). This is the most important information for most users, due to the fact that, to this day, most users are still in this payment method.
To use the IFT comparator you just have to enter the comparador.ift.org.mx portal to choose the payment method in which you wish to obtain information; there you will be taken to a page where you can select the type of rate or price range you wish to pay, and finally, optionally, you can choose the mobile operator (s) from which you wish to obtain the information. The results in prepaid

The data you will find will be the fourteen prepaid schemes currently offered by Telcel, Nextel, Movistar, Iusacell and Unefon.
Among the data that can be found is that only in three of the schemes that the user can access can get lower rates for voice minutes by increasing the amount of your recharge. Only in two of the plans the user receives gift balances. And if the user recharges more than 100 pesos per month, they can obtain a decrease of between 40% and 50% in their voice minute cost.
Postpaid results
In Postpay we will find the information of the same operators, Telcel, Nextel, Movistar, Iusacell and Unefon; but here we will see a quite important variation in the services included for a similar income.
Although the price range of SMS is similar in all cases, we find that in voice a company offers from a monthly rent of 349 pesos per month unlimited minutes, up to the case of the other companies that offer a few minutes but an offer of free numbers.
Although the data included vary in each operator, and all companies offer additional options within their plans. And also, despite being banned, we still find that a couple of operators still maintain the preferential rate service for calls between their users and other operators.
